Electronic Signature Consent

Last updated: 24 June 2026

When you sign a document through NibSign, you do so electronically. This notice explains what that means.

Consent to sign electronically

By selecting a signing action and completing a document in NibSign, you agree to sign that document electronically. Your electronic signature is intended to have the same effect as a handwritten signature, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Agreement to use electronic records

You agree to receive and use electronic records and communications in connection with the documents you sign, including the document itself, signing links, and completed copies.

Access to completed documents

After signing is complete, a copy of the signed document is made available to the signing parties and is emailed to them. You are responsible for downloading and retaining your own copy of any document you sign.

Your responsibility to review

Before you sign, you are responsible for:

  • Reviewing the full document and confirming its contents
  • Confirming you are the intended signer
  • Ensuring you understand and agree to what you are signing

Jurisdiction-specific variation

Electronic signature laws vary by jurisdiction, document type, and use case. NibSign does not guarantee that any signature or document will be legally valid or enforceable for your specific purpose. For regulated documents or specific legal requirements, please seek advice from a qualified legal professional.
